Description

IXM WEB allows users to configure the Presence Detect Settings. IXM WEB allows enabling or disabling the Auto On feature for Secugen Sensor and for Lumidigm Sensor. If a person comes near the IXM device, it will automatically detect their presence and inform the system. Admin can define the action when a presence is detected. Presence Detect feature is available for SENSE 2, TOUCH 2 and TITAN products only.

Admin can configure the following actions:

  • Identify: When presence is detected, device turns the sensor on and starts capturing image. Using this feature, power and sensor life can be saved. Mercury sensor is always ON when the device is in identification mode. When mercury sensor is installed in an outdoor environment it is continuously on and will get hot. Sometimes, it can get too hot and can burn the fingers. To overcome this problem, INVIXIUM has provided this feature. Enable the identify feature to detect presence, sensor turns ON only when user is detected or else it will turn OFF.
  • LCD: When presence is detected, device turns the LCD on. In idle cases, LCD will be turned OFF. When user comes closer to the INVIXIUM device, it will turn ON the LCD automatically. Using this feature, the life of the LCD increases, and it saves power too.
  • Range: This feature describes the range within which the user gets detected. There are in all four levels: Low, Medium, High and Very High.
