Description

Enrolling users in IXM WEB is one of the initial and most important steps in IXM WEB.

Fingerprint Enrollment (All Products)

  • Click on USERS tile -> Start Enrollment app. Application will redirect to Enrollment window.
  • Provide necessary details as per requirement and click Next.
  • Select finger and then click on Enroll Biometric.
  • Application will show a “Place Finger” message. Place the finger on the device.
  • Once the device captures a finger, application will show “Remove Finger” message and the fingerprint image will be displayed on the right side of the application along with the image quality.
  • Invixium recommends proper finger placement. It is very important to place the finger in a way that the whole sensor area gets covered and the ridge of the finger touches the slightly engraved portion of the fingerprint sensor.
  • After enrollment of all the required fingers click Next.
  • Provide appropriate User Group and click Next.
  • If this user requires writing on Smart Card, then Activate “Write on Smart Card” option and/or if this user finger image needs to be saved then Activate “Save Image” option. Otherwise directly click Save Upon the completion of the process, application will display success/failure message and user will be transferred to a device based on the mapping done at the device group window.

Finger Vein Enrollment (TITAN)

  • Click on USERS tile >> Start Enrollment app. Application will redirect to Enrollment window.
  • Provide necessary details as per requirement and click Next.
  • Select finger and then click on Enroll Biometric.
  • Application will show a “Place Finger” message. Place finger on the device.
  • Once the device captures a finger, application will show “Remove Finger” message and the finger image will be displayed on the right side of the application along with the image quality.
  • Invixium recommends using the index and middle fingers for enrollment.
  • After enrollment of all the required fingers click Next.
  • Provide appropriate User Group and click Next.
  • If this user requires writing on Smart Card, then Activate “Write on Smart Card” option and/or if this user finger image needs to be saved then Activate “Save Image” option. Otherwise directly click Save. Upon the completion of the process, application will display success/failure message and user will be transferred to a device based on the mapping done at the device group window.

Face Enrollment (TITAN)

Invixium recommends standing at a distance of 2 to 3 feet from the device when enrolling a face

  • Click on USERS tile -> Start Enrollment app. Application will redirect to Enrollment window.
  • Provide necessary details as per requirement and click Next.
  • Click on Face to expand the section. Click on Enroll face to start face enrollment.
  • Application will show a “Show Face to Device” message. The user should look straight at the camera when enrolling their face. Avoid looking in other directions or turning your head during enrollment. Make sure entire face is within the frame corners, which will turn green upon correct positioning.
  • Once the device captures a face, application will show “Remove Face” message and the face will be displayed on the left side of the application along with the Quality and Face Type.
  • Invixium recommends saving user with face type as “Live”.
  • After enrollment of face click Next.
  • Provide appropriate User Group and click Next.
  • If this user requires writing on Smart Card, then Activate “Write on Smart Card” option. Otherwise directly click Save. Upon the completion of the process, application will display success/failure message and user will be transferred to a device based on the mapping done at the device group window.

Enroll User using a USB Desktop Sensor

The following Fingerprint sensors are INVIXIUM Certified Products, which can be used to initiate the Enrollment process:

  • Lumidigm® M-Series
  • SecugenTM Hamster PLUS
  • In the “Select a finger to start enrollment” window if any of the fingerprint sensors are not detected by the application then click Download, and install the fingerprint sensor driver.
  • Once the driver installation is complete, refresh the browser and go to “Select a finger to start enrollment” section. Click on the device image. Application will show a pop-up with the option of a fingerprint sensor and a device.
    Note: In case both the sensors are attached to the machine then whichever sensor gets detected first will appear for finger capture selection.
  • Select finger and click Enroll Biometric.
  • Application will show a “Place Finger” message. Place the finger on the fingerprint sensor.
  • Once the fingerprint sensor captures the finger, the application will show a “Remove Finger” message and the finger image will be displayed on the right side of the application along with the image quality.

Enabling Advance Enrollment option

  • Click on USERS tile >> Start Enrollment app. Application will redirect to Enrollment window.
  • Provide necessary details as per requirement and click Next.
  • Toggling Finger Print option to Advance will enable Advance Enrollment option.
  • Select finger and then click on Enroll Biometric.
  • Application will ask user to place selected finger 3 times. Each time IXM WEB will notify the user by displaying the “Place Finger” message.
  • Once all 3 attempts are captured, IXM WEB will display the captured finger print image of each attempt.
  • Out of 3 attempts the best captured finger print image will automatically display in the fingerprint capture area.
  • After enrollment of all the required fingers click Next. Follow Step 7 onwards of the section “Enroll User using IXM Device” to save User along with template.
