Description

A transaction log is created during device booting. When any event occurs, it gets stored in the transaction logs along with the current device time stamp. IXM WEB can download transaction log(s) from the device which is stored in the local database and mark it as read once downloaded.

Click LOGS tile >> Transaction Logs, app will redirect to Transaction Logs Window.

Different Functionalities of Transaction Logs

Set Schedule

1. It will allow IXM WEB to automatically retrieve transaction logs from the device which will be stored in the local database. Set either basic or advanced schedule type.

2. Click Set Schedule which will redirect to schedule Transaction Logs Setting Window.

3. Toggle ON schedule Transaction Log settings window.

Basic Schedule

1.Select the day, time and device to set downloading of Transaction Logs. Click Apply to change the same in IXM WEB..

2. Confirmation Message window.

Advance Schedule

1. Change Schedule Type from “Basic” to “Advance” to access advance schedule.

2. Select the day, time, interval and device to set downloading of Transaction Logs.Click Applyto change the same in IXM WEB.

3. Confirmation Message Window.

Export

1.Click Export to download transaction logs into .csv file using Export functionality.

2. Export progress window will be displayed.

3. Upon completion, save .csv (TransactionLog_DD_MM-YYYY_HH_MM_SS.csv) file.

4. Click OK to save.

Download Unread Logs

1. Select “Unread” to download unread transactions from the device(s).

2. In device selection window, select devices(s) as per requirement.

3.Click Downloadto start downloading unread transactions from the device(s) and upon completion, log will be displayed showing the successful and failed transaction numbers.

Download All Logs

1. Select “All” to download all transactions from the device.

2. Application will redirect to a confirmation message window to overwrite all existing Transaction Log(s).

3.Click Downloadto start downloading all transactions from the device. The progress bar window will be displayed.

4. Upon completion, log will display the successful and failed transaction numbers.

Download Media Logs (Only for TOUCH 2)

1. Select “Media” to download Media from the device.

2. This start downloading Media files from the device. The progress bar window will be displayed.

3. Upon completion of process confirmation window will be displayed.

Delete Selected Logs

1. Select transaction log(s), go to “Delete” and click “Selected” to delete selected transaction log(s) from IXM WEB.

2. Password confirmation window will be displayed.

3.Insert valid password (Use the same login & password) and click Delete to delete selected log(s) from IXM WEB and confirmation window will be displayed.

Delete All Logs

1. Click “All” to delete all transaction logs from IXM WEB.

2. Password confirmation window will be displayed.

3. Insert valid password (Use the same login & password) and clickDeleteto delete all log(s) from IXM WEB and a confirmation window will be displayed.

FAQs

1. Who can use Transaction Logs feature in IXM WEB?

All IXM WEB users who havd access to the LOGS tile can use this feature.

2. Is it possible to download transaction logs if the device is offline?

No, users cannot download transaction logs if the device is offline.

3. Is it possible to schedule transaction logs if the device is offline?

Yes, user can schedule transaction logs while the device is offline, as IXM WEB does not depend on the availability of the device while applying basic or advanced schedule.

4. Is it possible to Export transaction logs while the device is offline?

Yes, users can export all available transaction logs to a .csv file while the device is offline.

5. Is it possible to delete transaction logs if the device is offline?

Yes, users can delete all or selected available transaction logs while the device is offline.
