Hungerford, United Kingdom – In the latest of a series of exciting new product launches, RGB is proud to announce that they have secured exclusive distribution of Invixium biometric fingerprint readers for use with automated door entry systems to the UK and European AV market. This is a ground-breaking move for RGB, as Caroline Britt, Managing Director at RGB, explains:
“Being among the first UK AV distributors to sell Biometric fingerprint readers, fits perfectly with the RGB ethos which has always been to be at the forefront of smart home technology. Invixium gives our dealers a fantastic opportunity to add more value, increase customer convenience and satisfaction by offering ‘smarter’ installs”.
RGB first became familiar with Invixium during CEDIA Expo 2015, where they couldn’t help but notice the excitement surrounding biometrics. After a comprehensive product demonstration, it was clear that Invixium was the ‘Apple of the Biometric industry’ with its high quality components and seamless usability which is unparalleled by others.
Through smart integration with leading home automation controllers, Invixium biometric products eliminate the need for keys, cards, or PINs for convenient and secure access with the added benefit of automatic personalised environment or AV control. Control systems can now be programmed to trigger the actions of any connected device with just a simple touch of a finger.
“Invixium fingerprint readers couple sophisticated and market leading biometric technologies with network connectivity for seamless integration with Savant and other control systems. The fact that it combines advanced functionality with compact, elegant style and robustness made it something we were keen to add to our product portfolio”. Andy Atwell, Sales Director at RGB.
It isn’t just RGB who are excited to have Invixium on board. The feeling is mutual. The CI market is seen as having massive potential for growth by Invixium.
“The CI market needs technology that is smart and aesthetically pleasing to improve the lives of home and business owners, but it should also be simple to use and easy to install. Currently, the concept of biometrics is still very new to the AV market but thanks to its endorsement by the smartphone industry, the user benefits are becoming very clear. Biometric security is not reliant on what you have (card) or what you know (PIN) but is the only solution to prove that you are who you say you are.” Sandra Santos, Marketing Manager at Invixium.
Due to wiring and programming requirements, Invixium products require professional installation and are not suitable for DIY projects, making them ideal for the CI market to add biometric enhancements to their offerings and to differentiate themselves from other installers.
After the initial discussions, it was immediately clear to Invixium that RGB were the perfect partners to launch them into the European marketplace.
“IoT is growing at an unprecedented pace,” says Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President of Invixium. “RGB is a technical distributor and a perfect partner for Invixium to take our innovative biometric products to the ever growing EU smart home and IoT markets. We at Invixium are adamant to engineer and deliver the best biometric ‘thing’.”
